After 2 separate surgeries I now have 4 scars on and around my right breast. Strangely I actually cherish them, they are the perfect reminder to live fully and not take life for granted. I understand this isn't the case for everyone, but wanted to share my scars more intimately for anyone who may be interested.
RADIATION THERAPY- My experience
After undergoing IV chemotherapy for 6 months, which was one of the most challenging experiences physically I have ever endured, radiation felt like a walk in the park. The fear is present though, we’ve all googled radiation and we know the ‘negative effects’ it can have on us right? So making the decision to have it can be tough for some.

After I was diagnosed, my brain turned to mush. I couldn’t compartmentalize my thoughts, I couldn’t focus, my mind felt so fleeting and all over the place I felt like I had mental vertigo.
